Schools are legally required to respond to and remedy hostile educational environments. Failure to do so means a school could risk losing federal funding and the U.S. 教育部民权办公室(OCR)确保遵守教育法第九条.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), 20 U.S.C. §1681 et seq., 联邦民权法是否禁止在教育项目和活动中基于性别(包括怀孕和父母身份)的歧视. 受第九条保护的怀孕和与怀孕有关的情况包括学生的怀孕, childbirth, 终止妊娠, lactation, and medical conditions related to or recovery from these.

Apply for Pregnancy and Parenting Accommodations
